Pretreatment Instructions for Botox

1. Avoid each of the following for 10 days prior to treatment
   • Aspirin
   • Motrin, Ibuprofen, or other similar anti-inflammatory medications
   • Vitamin E
   • Green tea

Post-treatment Instructions for Botox

1. Stay upright for at least 4 hours after the injections
2. Contract the treated muscles repeatedly as often as possible after the injections for 3 hours.
3. If bruising occurs:
   1. Use a green concealer followed by a foundation of normal skin color
   2. Apply Vitamin K containing cream two times per day after the treatment
4. Expect 2-7 days to see full effect of the injections
5. FU with Dr. Hertzman in 7-14 days.
