Dr.
Thomsen specializes in Dermatology including care of
skin, skin cancers, acne, warts, rashes, and diseases
of hair and nails. He also performs surgical removal
of skin lesions, including moles, cysts, and skin cancers.
He also does sclerotherapy for veins and injects Zyderm ® for
wrinkles.
Dr. Thomsen grew up in Des Moines, Iowa and received
his undergraduate degree from St. Olaf College in Northfield,
MN in 1972. He received his medical and dermatological
training from the University of Iowa in 1976 and 1980.
He began his solo practice in Los Alamos in 1981.
Dr. Thomsen is married to Michelle, a LANL physicist
in NIS-1 and has two children: Davis, born in 1979
and Kristine, born in 1983.
